Grill liners come in a variety of sizes, so make sure to get the one that fits your grill perfectly. Also, you can use a heavy-weight aluminum foil that will work just fine for most grilling needs. Welcome to my review of the Z Grill. I’m Sean Grande and today we will be talking about this fantastic product. Hear me on the ‘What’s In The Pot’ Youtube Channel where I do reviews for anything food-related – including BBQ equipment as well. Let’s get started by taking an inventory. The first thing you’ll notice is this big hopper, which houses all those delicious grilling possibilities. The flavor of our food is due to the hard work and dedication put into loading this machine. The grill has a temperature control that goes up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, the high setting. This is where we set our desired cooking temperatures and it will maintain them until you release pressure from your vent hood. This is the firepot. The grill is fired up by pellets, fed from an auger that determines the temperature. It goes into a firepot where you can actually smell burning wood. Heat is a key ingredient in the cooking process. With this, you can reduce or even prevent flames from coming up through your grill. The grill’s deflector does a great job of reducing flames from coming up through the cooking surface. Next up is our drip pan. This simple aluminum sheet will take the grease and send it through an opening on one side, into a bucket full of water to cool down before continuing on as normal with its journey. I’ve also lined this section because when you clean your smoker or grill later – cleaning can get messy fast if there are bits stuck everywhere. One is a warming rack, which can actually cook on top of that too! And then we have the main bottom one where all your food goes when cooking at home – it’s perfect for using as well since there is plenty of space available over here from both verticality & length-wise distribution along with this ZPG-450A model. Now we’re going into the kitchen and starting to cut up some sweet potatoes. I’m gonna start with three this time, so let’s see how thick they can get. One inch should be about right for dinner tonight; you might have your own preference depending on what else is in there (eats) or if someone likes their veggies crispy-coated as mine do then maybe less would work just fine too though. So, two tablespoons of olive oil should do it just right? We are going on the grill for this one and I am only using one tablespoon at first but you can definitely add in another if needed. Now, I’m also going to add one tablespoon of old-fashioned seasoning. If you don’t like obey that much then go ahead and use half a tablespoon or one teaspoon instead. I’m going to add one teaspoon of bada complete seasoning and it has a really great flavor. The sweet potatoes are now even more delicious with this added ingredient. Slap ya mama is a great addition to any recipe that needs some extra spice. If you want it spicier, go ahead and add in an extra teaspoon or two of spices like cinnamon. We’re going to give it one more mix, guys. Just make sure all the pieces of potato are covered with our seasonings and spices so they can get tender like a baby’s tears. The first thing I do when starting my Z-grill is hit on. You know, cuz if we don’t find our target quickly and accurately then there’s no point in cooking at all. When we hit smoke, the grill’s going to start warming up and then you’re gonna open your lid. Once I do that run for a few minutes before seeing those beautiful white clouds of smoke coming out. Now that you’ve seen our smoke, it’s time to cover the lid and set your desired cooking temperature. I’m going for 450 degrees here today. Usually, when baking in an oven myself though, we cook at about 425-450 depending on what the recipe calls for. Still needed to get the grill up to 450 degrees, then I can start adding my pellets. Once it reaches that temperature you’ll see them both here next in this bag – some charcoal and competition blend. I’ve put them on the grill and we’ll let these cook for 30 minutes, then after 25 of that time has passed I will go ahead with flipping our delicious spuds. Wow! I can’t believe how well our potatoes are turning out. They’re so beautiful and nicely gratin-ed, just the way we like ’em.’ Let’s give these babies another 25 minutes in total before removing them from heat for an easy finishing touch. We’ve been working for about 30 minutes now, and our final product is this beautiful pile of grilled sweet potatoes. I’m so proud that we were able to make them look good. Man, I love this grill! It’s got all the right features and it works like a charm. You should definitely consider getting one for yourself today if you need some new friends to play with or just want something different than your old smoker that is rusted out from years of use. Hey, thanks for tuning in to my channel What’s In The Pot. I’m so glad you found this video and hope that it helps answer any questions or concerns about pellet grills!

Solution: Traeger Grills make cleanup easy with our patented grease management system which routes the grease away from the heat and into the drip pan. The Pro Series 575 even comes with its own little bucket to catch all of the greases! Hey! I’m back with a little bit of an unusual video. The guys at Traeger Grills Pro wanted to see if I liked their new pro series 575 Grill. They said it was great for big YouTube channels like mine, and they’re always looking out for new products that will work well with us. When I told them that I’m not a grill master, they said it’s probably going to make for a terrible video. But the point of this project is we want somebody who can do stuff other people think they cannot do. You know, that’s not the best way to see if you can screw up on a Traeger Grills. We said okay send it out and then we thought what better test than trying our hand at making something? We have a very special cookbook for our team members. If they get sick, then we know it’s not good because the food was definitely made on an unheated grill and not cooked properly, to begin with. But if everyone likes what I prepare? Well anybody can make delicious meals out of Traeger grills no matter who prepares them. They sent it out, so we’ll give this a go. That’s right, people. This is the nicest grill I have ever used and it doesn’t even matter that much because you’re not supposed to set up grills anyway. So let me show off my skills by getting this thing fired up in no time at all with ease. The barbecue was a resounding success. I have to agree with the folks from Traeger that it’s hard to mess up food when you’re cooking with one of their newer grills, and this model is no different. The food really was delicious, and I enjoyed the smoky taste. It is cooked to perfection with that juicy inside – just how you want your meat. The short of it all is…I loved everything about this dish. I love Traeger grills. They’re so easy to use and the food always tastes amazing. We got a chance to try out one of their newest models, which came with plenty more features than our old one did–but in case you were wondering what we didn’t like about it? Well now’s your chance. The grill looked really easy to put together. Our crew finished the project in about an hour, but what’s even better is their manual provides guidance so you can do it at your own pace and not worry too much if things aren’t going as planned or perhaps the beer level may need adjusting along the way because they’ve got this clever system where each step requires only one bottle of brews – so just remember when working on longer jobs that there are two bottles per task. And the guys seemed to like it as well because they got to drink at work. What’s also pretty cool is that at the end of it all, you can turn your cardboard box into a little law cabin. They were thinking of you when they designed this! It’s time to unpack your grill from its packaging. We think that all of our employees will enjoy this, as it is something new and fun for them. They’re everywhere! I’m not sure if you know, but Traeger grills are a popular brand. I think they can be found at pretty much every home Depot out there these days too. It has the Traeger wood pellet smoker shape with a chimney, as well as an overall rugged appearance thanks to its barrel-shaped lid that’s been given extra room for fuel storage between two racks at the bottom – your main cooking surface area, then on top another smaller one called “secondary.” With the new gas grills, you now have more space to cook larger items. The beer can chicken is a go-to for many people, and the new grills from Traeger make it even easier to cook up some tasty birds. With plenty of room on my 22-inch wide grill (which does not have any high edges that would limit usable space), I had no problem cooking without worrying about bumping into things or overcrowding myself while preparing meals at home. The new grills from Traeger are a perfect addition to your outdoor cooking experience. They have been designed with functionality in mind and will allow you more options when it comes time for cleaning or adding additional equipment, such as an ice chest! One great feature about these particular models is that they come equipped with hooks on the back which allows users easy access while still keeping their food safe during transport if needed – no need to worry anymore because we’ve got all of those worries covered now thanks to this innovative design idea from our friends at Traeger. The Traeger Grills Pro 575 was more than adequate for our needs. We cooked the whole tri-tip and like 15 or 16 dogs, with no issues at all! The space they say is about 24 burgers but I think 20 would be comfortable enough to enjoy them quickly without feeling too crowded on this model of the grill – seems perfect since that’s what most people end up doing anyway when cooking large cuts of meat like steer or beef. Of course, they have that upgraded 780 unit. It’s equipped with big sturdy wheels on the bottom so you can easily maneuver it through your yard without any problem. The casters seem to be just what we needed. The 575’s castors don’t lock, but with the newer 780 models that should not be an issue. The grill’s front display is where you’ll find all of your opted-in settings, like temperature and time. I think one of the best features of this grill is that you can see exactly what temperature your food will be at all times. You’re able to adjust settings on it and choose from different types of cooking methods as well, which really helps make things tasty. Plus with its built-in probe for monitoring meat temperatures while they cook right before our eyes – we won’t have any trouble finding perfect donenesses anymore. The new Traeger grill is a thing of beauty. It has all the features you could hope to find, including wifi-enabled temperature control. This allows for remote monitoring and adjustment so that your food will always be cooked just right. The Grill App allows you to monitor your grill from anywhere in the world, with multiple features that are both convenient and easy to use. You can set timers for particular tasks like instantly shutting off when meat is done on one side of an open flame while maintaining heat underneath it so no food burns up or wastes away neglected; check temperatures remotely whether using a thermometer probe placed inside whatever cooking medium will Show exactly where too high/low they’ve gone without having a walk around looking at surfaces – all this information has been compiled within our brand new smartphone application. The Traeger app is an awesome way to access and adjust your grill settings, as well as cook up some tasty chicken! With recipes built right in for all types of eaters alike, there’s no need to search elsewhere. The functionality offered on this particular mobile application has been nothing short but spectacular – I love being able to change temperatures quickly without having to go back into the house or do any extra work whatsoever; plus if you’re looking at something new like steak knives then just tap away until they disappear from existence because who wants another tool around anyway? It really does make life more convenient than ever before when cooking food at home. When I was cooking for the team, here’s what happened in my kitchen. The tri-tip cooked up nicely in my smoker, and it smoked for about three hours at 180 degrees before I pulled the meat. I went to the office, and everything seemed fine. I checked up on it just in case. The alarm went off to let me know that three hours had passed. I came back, wrapped my grill in foil, and put it back at 450 degrees Fahrenheit where the internal probe was the desired temperature. Instantly, my phone started beeping and I got an alert. And so, I went with the rest of my team back to find that our meal was ready. The system is so easy to use. I knew the exact temperature of both my barrel and probe, which let me know that not only will this food be cooked perfectly but also there is no guesswork involved in making sure it is ready for consumption. The new features of this grill are its two-drive system and the ability to control temperature via a digital interface. I know someone who has used it before says that they work better than what was offered in previous models, but personally, I’ve never tried one so can’t say for sure if that’s true or not. The auger does a great job at pulling in the pellets and it seems to work consistently. The overall system also seems to be really efficient with its use of those wood pellets. With a quarter bag of pellets, our entire meal took about four hours to cook. However, I didn’t like some things that were done in the Traeger so now with the new system it should be getting there faster than before. The heat turned out to be on the lower end. I’d say it took about 15 minutes from a cold start, not bad but obviously not as quick as what you’re used to. The lid also lost heat when you opened it, which is to be expected. The grill reaches 400 degrees Fahrenheit in just five minutes, which is a major improvement over the previous models. I know this must be confusing for newbies who are used to gas grills but it’s something you’ll quickly get used to as well. There’s no need to open the grill’s lid much, as they know that this will cause its temperature to drop. Keep in mind if you do leave it open for a few seconds though – especially while cooking fatty foods like steaks or pork chops which require high heat so their meat does not burn up before being cooked through properly on all sides with browned edges removed from temperature ruins because who wants raw red deliciousness? While it may take a few minutes to get back up to temp, I did notice something interesting. This heater does an excellent job of maintaining your desired temperature within 10 degrees or so. I cooked for three hours and the oven was at 180. The temperature stayed around 170 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, which is what you would expect. I am a big fan of Traeger grills, but I have to admit that they’re relying on their accessories too much. The difference with this grill is that it doesn’t have all the extra features you’re used to on other grills. For example, if there’s a front rack for cooking and putting things onto costs an additional fee (which can be expensive), they sell hooks or spatulas etcetera but these will cost more than what I’m used to – so basically everything has been stripped away. Well, I’m glad they finally got around to adding some hooks for grilling. You know what? That was really missing in my opinion! The food tastes delicious and it’s obvious that these people have been doing this since long before we were born because there are definitely things about the machine which aren’t perfect but overall make up for those shortfalls with experience gained over time. Have a great day!

We liked how it performed as both a smoker, but also fantastic when cooking on max temperature for meats like brisket or turkey burgers; they turn out silkily tender thanks in part due to its excellent sear ability which helps you get those beautiful hallmarked flavors right at home without having too much trouble getting them caramelized within spotlights! The Traeger Grills Ranger is a portable pellet grill that I have heard some people concern over its capability to do larger meet items. Well, we’re about to find out if this unit can hold up against large cooking tasks! I’ll be using the meter and block as well as tracking both temps with an app on my phone so stay tuned for results soon enough… I’ve got Hickory pellets from that’s what we’re utilizing and butt rub. Awful Byron’s butt rub. Kind of my go-to for Boston buts has been until the end of time. And all I have to do is to induce this thing lit up. And whereas it’s getting warm, I’m gonna carry this meat in, get it prepared up. Here it goes. I got the thermometer installed, and now we can get this grill started. There you go with your grilling skills of course. Everything is about to go down. I’m going ahead and using three of the probes from my meter, one Traeger grill of course- it’s never too early for a good smoke. What do you think? We can make sure everything looks good and doesn’t touch. Let’s just do that now! There’s plenty of room there. That is a 10-pound Boston butt and I’m happy with if the grill can do that. Umm, let me check my calculations here…the Boston butts are about 1242 pounds so we’ll keep track as long as it takes us to finish up cooking these bad boys off together. I see y’all soon enough! I opened up the grill and raked down some pellets. I just wanted to make sure everything was nice even before adding them into my mix. I will admit that it’s been running a little harder than I’ve got it set. The highest number so far has reached 225, but there were some really high readings in this time period as well. The reason why I lost my signal was because of a little too far away. So, but that doesn’t matter. The temperature inside of your pellet grill is 250 degrees Fahrenheit, which means that you can cook any food without worrying about burning it. The internal temperature of my Boston butt is 133 degrees Fahrenheit, but it’s currently at 112. I have three probes in there and always go by the lowest one when checking for doneness; anything over 195 will make me pull out those pallets before they’re cooked all way through. The way it’s looking is very good. There isn’t anything wrong with how things are looking right now and that will definitely hold up during our next 5 minutes. And I’ll show you the pellets and a little better look at everything. And since we’re not going to be adding more, let’s rake them down so they are nicely covered over here where it feels just right for us now. So back down with the lid and I’m supposed to have that over here. This little indentation, but it’s been a couple of times where nothing has happened. And after that, we’ll come back again. Okay? So it’s been right at around five hours now and what I’m going to do is open up the can for you so all of those pellets will be broken down a little bit. Here is my meat. You can see that the probe was 70 degrees where I got a little different rating, depending on which spot you stuck it in – for instance if your meter’s location gets colder than expected then chances are there will be lower numbers recorded by this particular tool (depending). This explains why some people might say their ambient readings were off or inaccurate when really all they needed to do. Well, I’m not too worried about it. It’s just been a little hot lately, but no big deal. I’m sure it’s gonna be fine and like I’ve already mentioned before-I did lose because of connection issues with this for a while so far as my record goes on that one (the grill). But at five hours here is what the meeting looks like. Oh, it’s a sight for sore eyes. Take note of where those are. That is one, two, and three. So that’s the three I have in there and you can see how the ratings might be a little bit different, but let’s take a look at this. It was only at about 225 degrees Fahrenheit so thankfully that doesn’t seem too bad yet. And I probably could get by with not doing it, but keep from having to worry about the consequences. To keep from having to worry about it, I’m just going ahead and adding a few more. That’ll be enough for this cook; hopefully, we’re not too far off on the temperature front now that you mention it. And as always – since our show is different than yours – I want instructors like yourself with experience cooking at high heats so they can teach others how to do their own dishes properly when things get busy or unexpected happens. All right, we’re just about to open up the grill. I’ve got a 192 as my lowest temp and that’s working out pretty good for me so far. What will happen next is you’ll be able to get this meat off of here without burning them or ruining its delicious flavor with high temperatures. When the grill is ready, I’ll open it up and give it another thirty minutes to rest. Do you know how long two hours can seem? It’s not bad at all. The next time you feel like your patience has run thin with cooking food—just wait until this primal instinct takes over again. Look at that, it’s so beautiful! I bet you anything that whoever cooked this meat knew what they were doing. It looks just like an A-game barbecue or roast to me – there are no mistakes here. Now I’ll remove the fat cap. This is my favorite part. I always do because if you’ve watched any of my videos before then maybe it’s not news to hear that this is what they’re all about- getting rid of cutting away at least some portion layer from the top down so as not to have an unruly mess on your hands. It may be a lot of work to remove the fat cap but if you don’t, you kinda lose it. I’ll explain a little better, maybe in just one minute but first, let me set this into place and there really isn’t any need for me to leave it as you can see because the way that looks is perfect. It’s an attractive Boston from what I’ve seen so far-we’re going to put on our lid here now before moving on to something else if these are done already? The barbequed meat needs to rest before it is ready. I don’t know, 30 minutes should be long enough for tomorrow’s meal. We do a lot of things with this meat. Everything from salads, like the barbecue beef salad to baked potatoes and ’em on for sandwiches or sometimes tacos. There are plenty of dishes you can create when it comes down to barbeque. Y’all, I’m going to show you something special. Something that will make your mouth water and wait for me all day long-the meat from an animal we butchered earlier today. That’s why our 10-pound one is such a great deal. We’ll pull that bone out in just 1 minute and see what the meat looks like, so y’all can take your time catching up with me after this little break. This container allows smoke and odor to escape while keeping food from spilling out onto other surfaces or into neighboring spaces that may be occupied by people who don’t want their living room smelling like BBQ for days afterward. The back of the grill is where you’ll find most grilling equipment, including your catch cup. This container allows smoke and odor to escape while keeping food from spilling out onto other surfaces. I’m so excited! The meat looks great and after an hour of resting, it’s even more beautiful than before. I still have those thermometers in. I’m going to pull those out right quick, so I won’t have any problems. And then we’ll see if I can pull this bone out of the meat right here. There it is, and just twist a little bit more until you feel some resistance before moving. And there’s a little color on this thing right here, but when you get down to it…it tastes just as good without the extra flavors. So let’s put our gloves back on, and break that meat for some really great-looking barbecue. I’m not going to lie. I cheated and ate some of it because you know how good these are. I like to take the fat cap off so I don’t have to worry about removing it after cooking. And that way all your bark gets incorporated into pork pool-style. It’s great for salads and sandwiches. You need some cheese, ranch dressing, or another type of dip that you like on your meats plus shredded lettuce with tomatoes if they’re available in the season – no worries about not having any vegetables because there is always plenty here at our house when it comes to burgers. You can make a variety of filling dishes with just one shredded roast. From sandwiches, tacos, and salads to baked potatoes – there’s no wrong way you’ll enjoy this delicious meat. The grill is a workhorse. It can handle anything you give it and even do so with ease. The Traeger Grills Ranger was able to smoke 10 pounds of meat at once without missing a beat – what about your cooking? I think this test shows just how dedicated these grills are when they’re put through their paces by professionals like myself who know exactly what kind of task needs to be completed next. A pellet grill is a type of barbecue grill that uses compressed wood pellets as its fuel source. The pellets are made from dried wood shavings, sawdust, or other recycled wood materials.
